Planning storyboard for my Gatorade commercial
First Scene:
I want my first scene to be a tilt shot from the floor as the main actress sets down her bag beside her feet, to a slowly moving shot up her body. To then finally, end on her face as she looks off to the distance of volleyball court.
Second Scene:
The second scene is just going to be a simple establishing shot of the volleyball court with a pan movement from left to right. I want to be able to show the full length of the court from one side of the net.
Third Scene:
I want this scene to come in sharp and really start the heavy flow of the training. The scene will be an over-the-shoulder-shot of my main actress, while my other actress hits and attacks the ball from the other side of the net.
Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Scene
4. I'll have a shot facing the main actress shanking/missing a pass to the right of her. As you see the beginning of her frustration on her face, it emphasizes the story of her struggling during her training.
5. She'll then miss another pass in front of her, with the camera facing her right side.
6. She'll hit the ball into the net with the camera facing her right side as you see the anguish on her face.
Seventh Scene:
I'll then cut from those intense action scenes to then a mid-shot of my main actress sitting down on a bench with her head in her hands as she sulks because she isn't doing good in her training. I'll then zoom in on her face as she then looks off to the right.
Eighth Scene:
It'll then be a shot of the Gatorade bottle on the bench or table next to her, as she reaches from out of frame to grab the bottle and then take it out of frame.
Ninth Scene:
Then a mid-shot of my main actress taking a nice long sip from the Gatorade bottle and then lightly smirk in pleasure. This will then emulate her calming down and figuring out what she needs to do.
Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth Scene:
10. It'll then cut back into the intense action scene but instead of failing like before it'll be of her succeeding, really pushing through, and getting better. A shot from the main actress's right side as she dives and makes a successful pass in front of her.
11. A shot facing the main actress as she dives and makes a pass to the right of her.
12. A shot from behind my actress as she hits a ball successfully to the other side where her opponent dives and misses the ball.
Thirteenth Scene:
A mid to zoom shot of her smiling in accomplishment as the screen fades to black. This will illustrate her comeback from when she was getting in her own head in the beginning, to now when she dranks the Gatorade and then calmed down while getting hyped.
