Our Pitch
Pitch 1: The induction portrays a teenage girl who has been missing for 10 years, as she attempts to escape from her captor through the woods but doesn't succeed.
Pitch 2: The introduction shows society's ideal couple versus the horrific reality of a case, where the true colors of the boyfriend come out as he murders his girlfriend over an argument.
Both pitches are emotionally intense and thrilling, which is exactly what will excite us during the filmmaking process. We love psychological thrillers and horror movies so we knew we had to do something where that is being portrayed. We were really inspired to make the introduction as movie-like as possible, the last thing we want is it to look immature and childish. We came up with the first pitch first and we decided on choosing it for the final project because we certainly admired the idea. But we later found out that it might be overplayed. We wanted something as original and unpredictable as possible because we knew we wanted to stand out. We're not just taking this as a school project but as more of a personal one because of how much it piqued our interest. The second pitch was definitely more thought-out and we knew right away that this was more fitting. We spent a while trying to perfect the idea and we quickly fell in love with our plan. We're incredibly excited to start the filmmaking process and to see how the outcome will turn out.
So we've decided to choose Pitch 2 for our final project.
