Title research: (Split)

I watched my opening for this movie on youtube. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWEzamQjh3Q

  • What titles are displayed during the opening sequence? We see somewhat simplistic white fonts. It's minimal yet very sophisticated.
  • What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Throughout we see bolded white titles and flashes of the name, "Split". Overall we notice a cleaner look yet this minimal effort adds to the movement of the psychotic fast jolts of the titles.
  • What connotations do these images carry?   There's so little yet so much. Balancing casual film with effort only art films can have that. This title sequence does that.
  • How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?  No, and yes to an extent. The joints gave without are unsettling. Yet the titles and fonts are so simplistic. It's hard to disguise the genre.
  • What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? The poster gives a little inside of the movie. you're faced with this intimidating man. That has these 23 personalities. We also we from the first opening clip the build-up is there. It starts off very high.
  • How has technology been used effectively? You want to consider camera angles, transitions, and editing techniques.  They are constantly showing the top of this wall. Throughout the opening credits. They provided a mysterious setting. Which unsettles the audience very much. Yet edits between names and differing credits were very simple yet clean.
