Final Task: Filming and Editing

We have thought a lot about this final project. We know almost exactly what we want to do, and how to execute it. We haven't started filming yet, but we plan to on Saturday, March 6th. Our friend was nice enough to spend time out of his day helping us with our project by being the lead. We'll all be going over to my house to film it. We obviously haven't started editing yet. However, when we start we'll immediately put in our shots to see what we need. That's how Alexa and I do things. Every time we do one of these projects, we don't like to just do everything in one day and just be done with it. Which sounds pleasant but then you settle for a shot that could have been better. We like to film all that we can on the first day, insert it into whatever editing software, and see where we can improve. Or even if we have to reshoot shots. Since we already all see each other on a regular basis, it's easy to film an extra scene quickly. Since we've already worked together on the last project, we know we work well together. Having the storyboard with us is going to help us a lot when trying to stay on track. We know all the angles and movements we want to do when shooting so the time should go by relatively quickly. Since our friend Zeke and I are acting, Alexa is going to be the one filming us and doing the angles/movements. Even though we have everything already planned out, we're still open to new ideas. If when we're shooting we realize something fits better than what we planned, we'll easily try to find a way to make it work. We love having different people's perspectives on a body of work like this. No matter how much we want the idea to be all ours, we don't let our pride get in the way of an amazing product. We can't decide if we want to edit with Imovie on apple or Clipchamps.
