Production Blog: Availability

With this project, we're facing some obstacles. The person we've decided to do it with, Ezekiel Moralez, has a very busy schedule with work and other events. I also have a busy schedule. The last weekend which was the 7th and 8th, We couldn't start filming for any of those days because some of us had work and were busy. The weekend coming up, the 13th and 14th, I'm going to be out of town for a wedding. The days we're thinking of filming are going to be the 20th and 21st. If it ends up being too far away then we might even have to film on weekdays. We're still planning to do it at my house, but Zeke's house is still always an option in case something comes up. Most of our film is going to be based in the kitchen area. Both of our houses have an open kitchen which makes it easier to actually film. If more problems arise, because of the availability of our actors then we might need to have a lead change. It is a bit stressful that our schedules can never line up to make filming this easy but I'm sure we'll eventually figure it out. We had other people we believed could also play that role well. It just came down to the fact that we're closer personally with Zeke than any of the other choices. But even still our friend Diego is willing to be an understudy of sorts in case anything arises. We ended up deciding on using iMovie on Alexa's mac book. She made a short picture and video collage of herself and her boyfriend. She decided after using both editing software that iMovie was easier. I personally don't have a Macbook so Alexa might have to take the editing directory. We'll set up dates for me to come over to help edit. Since I generally came up with the idea, I wanted to act in it because I knew what I wanted to be portrayed. I will also mainly be taking over the directing role while filming.
