AWARD-WINNING Thriller Short Film - A Simple Robbery (2020) Becky and Stacey are two friends who enjoy taking money from rich men. But tragedy strikes when a robbery didn't go as planned. Was hooked right from the opening credits! The American narration and comic undertone were clever, giving this another layer and made me feel ever so slightly at ease in the suspense moments! Professional acting and interesting characters, which are so hard to develop in such a short space of time. I think the concept was super solid and well-executed. One thing of note is that this film would have been a lot stronger without the voiceover. Make the audience think about what is happening, don't feed them things.
